Courtney Libby

So, here are the basic facts to help you get better acquainted with me!

I was born in Germany
I’m the oldest of five children.
I was Homeschooled.
I love kids!
I also love to read, sleep, and drink coffee.
Some of my favorite games are Candyland, Twister, and Scrabble.
I sing in the car.
I have been a PK (Pastor’s Kid) for most of my life.
Some of my favorite movies are Pride & Prejudice, The Fugitive, and Mission Impossible.

Now, here are some ‘Strange But True Facts:
I wanted to be a weather girl or a cytologist (the study of cells) when I was in high school.
I didn’t like hooded sweatshirts and gum for the longest time.
I haven’t eaten Cheerios since I was 10.
My grandfather taught me to spit.
I love Atari.
I wanted to be Nancy Drew. I even scoured the house looking for secret passages, but to no avail…
I actually played on a basketball team when I was little. Boy, was I styling in my pink sweatpants attempting to make granny shots. (It wasn’t pretty.)
I have been on an elephant ride.
I always wanted to play the cello.
I had a llama spit on my face at a fair. (I haven’t liked llamas since.)
I ran over my own foot with my own car…

Testimony:
I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 6 yrs. old. Christmas Eve night, in my living room, I asked Jesus to forgive me for all of my sins and to save me. (Much to the surprise of my parents.) I knew that I didn’t want to live the rest of my life in hell, but in heaven, serving our awesome God.
I went on a mission’s trip to Germany a year and a half ago. Later I found out that people had found bombs on the trains just a day or two before I was there riding those trains. What if I had died on one of those trains? My life ended- just like that. I don’t have fears about dying. I know exactly where I am going.
But what if it had been you? Are you certain that you would go to heaven if you were to die today? What have you decided? Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.” Have you decided whom you are going to serve? All you have to do is admit to Jesus that you know you are a sinner, and deserve death, but you are sorry for you sins and you know that Jesus died for your sins. Thank Him and ask Him to come into your heart to live forever.

I pray that if you are not sure if you are going to heaven that you would please talk to one of us leaders.
Serving God is my heart’s desire. I strive to every day bring glory and honor to God in all that I do. It’s not the easiest path. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
